Description

Sonubaits Tiger Fish is a specially developed mix by the Sonubaits team, combining Tiger Nuts, pellets, and fishmeals into a carp groundbait. This blend emerged from discussions and observations by experienced specimen carp fishermen, who recognized the effectiveness of Tiger Nuts.

By crushing the Tiger Nuts, their natural sugars and oils are released, creating a sticky consistency when mixed with water. This makes it ideal for use with the Method feeder or as a carrier for additional particles and balling in. When cupped in loose, it forms an excellent margin mix, creating a carpet of crushed pellets, fishmeals, and small particles of Tiger Nuts to entice fish to feed actively.

Sonubaits Tiger Fish groundbait is part of a broader range that includes feed pellets and liquid flavor, all of which can be used alone or in combination with other baits.

Michael Buckwalder (Irish International) attests to the effectiveness of this sticky, nutty, and fishy mix in various fishing situations. Whether targeting carp on commercial fisheries or using the Method feeder in deeper water, as well as fishing with chopped worm for skimmers and roach in Ireland’s natural venues, Tiger Fish proves to be a versatile and successful all-round mix.

To prepare Tiger Fish groundbait, follow these simple steps. Empty the 2kg bag of groundbait into a round mixing bucket. Add 1 1/2 pints of water to the groundbait and mix it thoroughly. Allow the mixture to rest for 30 minutes, allowing the water to be absorbed into the groundbait. For optimal results and to ensure an even consistency, pass the groundbait through a riddle to remove any lumps. Now, your Tiger Fish groundbait is ready to use.

During fishing sessions, sun and wind may cause the groundbait to dry out slightly. To counteract this, you can cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel. If it does dry out, simply add a little more water and mix it again to restore the desired consistency.
