Presenting the ESP Gripper Combi, meticulously crafted to meet stringent standards in the ESP factory. These rigs boast the formidable combination of Cryogen Grippers – known for their incredible strength and sharpness – and Tungsten Loaded semi-stiff coated braid. They come in two subtle colours, green and brown, and are available in barbed sizes 4, 6, and 8.
Designed in the classic combi-rig style, these rigs deliver a highly effective presentation. The hair length is finely tuned for each hook, with extender stops included for those occasions when you need to lengthen the hair for larger baits or snowman setups. Notably, the ESP Line Aligner sleeve is a crucial component, ensuring that the hook turns and pricks effectively as the hook link tightens against the lead.
Just above the hook, you’ll find a Streamliner Boom, which serves two essential purposes. First, it reduces the risk of tangles during casting. Second, it positions the hooklink at its full extension of 9 inches (23cm) away from the lead, optimising bolt rig performance. The upper end of the rig terminates in a small loop attached to a Quick Change swivel. This feature allows for rapid and hassle-free rig changes without the need to disassemble your setup.
