Empty the 2kg bag of groundbait into a round mixing bucket, add approximately 1 1/2 pints of water for most fishing situations, and mix thoroughly. Allow it to rest for 30 minutes, during which the water will be absorbed into the groundbait. For the best results, rub it between your palms to eliminate lumps and create a consistent texture.
In sunny and windy conditions, the groundbait may dry out slightly. To counter this, you can cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel. If it dries out further during fishing, simply add a bit more water and mix again to maintain the desired consistency.
