The Korda Carp Cradle XL is the larger counterpart to the immensely popular standard version. Korda has made some dimensional adjustments and introduced a few new features, but at its core, it remains the same top-tier product offered at a remarkably competitive price point.
Crafted with the utmost care, the Basix Carp Cradle XL is designed to provide maximum protection for your prized catch while ensuring practicality in both usage and portability. Constructed from 70mm high-density padded foam, it offers ample cushioning to safeguard your fish, coupled with a waterproof outer layer that is gentle on the fish’s delicate skin, even when wet, and won’t strip away its protective slime.
The padded walls of the cradle help to keep your catch secure and contained, minimizing the risk of accidental harm. When not in use, the Korda Carp Cradle XL conveniently folds in half, with ample space to store essential Carp Care Kit items and the Basix Weigh Sling inside. Additionally, the carry handles double as pegging points to anchor the cradle securely in place, reducing the risk of it being blown away by strong winds.
An exciting feature of the XL version is the inclusion of an additional loop on the underside, designed to accommodate either a weigh sling or a two-piece landing net, providing added versatility and convenience for anglers.
Capable of accommodating carp weighing up to 60lb/32kg, the Basix Carp Cradle XL boasts generous dimensions, with open dimensions measuring 114cm x 75cm x 27cm, and closed dimensions of 53cm x 75cm x 27cm.
In summary, the Basix Carp Cradle XL is not only practical and user-friendly but also offers superior protection and convenience, making it an essential piece of equipment for any angler serious about the welfare of their catch.
