The two stainless ball chains feature a unique design, with a plastic connector at one end and a 3g stainless connector at the other. Moreover, the 3g stainless add-on weight integrated into the hockey stick further increases the weight capacity. With this setup, the PTFE bobbin can be adjusted to 5g, 8g, or 11g, while the acrylic bobbins can be set to 3g, 6g, or 9g. This exceptional versatility allows for everything from slack line fishing with a light bobbin to tight line fishing at longer ranges with maximum weight.
For long-range specialists, there is an additional option of the stainless Metal Head bobbin, available separately. Weighing 15g, and with the stainless chain connector and add-on weight, this bobbin can be increased to a substantial 21g. The ESP Barrel Bobbin Kit includes interchangeable line clips, allowing you to fish the bobbin running on the line using the ball clips, or gripping the line Elstow style with the grip clips. For this setup, the 3″ ball chain is ideal, with the bobbin fished on a short drop near the bite alarm.
Additionally, the kit offers super bright isotopes designed to fit the slot in the bobbin. Encased in a clear PVC tube, these isotopes not only protect the glass isotope but also provide a snug interference fit in the slot without the need for glue or sealant.
